Class Novel: Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech
Walk Two Moons is a wonderful novel by Sharon Creech that happens to be Mrs. McKichan's all-time favorite. She'll love discussing it with you... outside of math class. ;)
The novel follows Sal's cross-country trip with Gram & Gramps to bring home her mom. Along the way, Sal tells the story of her friend, Phoebe Winterbottom, who has her own drama in her life. Throughout the novel, Sal learns that situations are often more complicated than they first seem, including her own.
